The Gila River Hawks are a competitive junior college football program based in Gila River, Arizona. Competing in the Hohokam Junior College Athletic Conference (HJCAC), the Hawks provide student-athletes with an opportunity to develop their skills, gain exposure, and advance in their academic and athletic careers.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Larry Cain, the Hawks have established themselves as a strong force in junior college football. Coach Cain brings experience, passion, and a commitment to player development, emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and perseverance—both on and off the field. His leadership has helped shape the program’s winning culture and continues to prepare athletes for the next level of competition.
